Terms of Service

PresentBetter provides AI-powered feedback tools for researchers and academics to improve their presentations. Our tools include Prism Visual (graph analysis), Q&A Practice (question preparation), and Feedback (simulated peer review).

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms.

You need an account to use PresentBetter. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per person.

PresentBetter uses a credit system. Each new account receives free credits to try the service. Additional credits can be purchased through Stripe.

• Pricing: Single credit ($5), Pack of 5 ($20), Pack of 10 ($35). Prices are in CAD and may change with notice.
• Credit usage: Prism Visual uses 1 credit per analysis. Q&A Practice uses 2 credits per session. Feedback uses 1 credit per session.
• Refunds: Credit purchases are non-refundable. Credits do not expire.
• Failed sessions: If a session fails due to a system error, the credit will be refunded to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that infringes on the rights of others.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software.

You retain ownership of everything you upload to PresentBetter. We do not claim any rights over your images, transcripts, or documents.

As described in our Privacy Policy, uploads are processed in memory and immediately deleted. We only store the AI-generated feedback, which is yours to use, export, and share as you see fit.

The feedback and analysis provided by our AI personas is generated by artificial intelligence and should be treated as one perspective among many. It is not a substitute for peer review, professional advice, or expert evaluation.

AI-generated feedback may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Use your judgment when applying suggestions to your work.

We aim to keep PresentBetter available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.

PresentBetter is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, that AI feedback will be accurate, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PresentBetter and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to PresentBetter in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You can delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our systems.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused purchased credits.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
